In the world market of tablets the next recession is expected

Analysts Digitimes Research forecast made tablets world market in the second quarter of this year.

It is estimated that in the first quarter of 2016 approximately 44.9 million tablets were sold globally on different hardware and software platforms. In the current quarter shipments are expected to fall by the level of 42.84 million units. Thus, a drop compared with the first three months of the year will amount to 4.6%.

When compared to the second quarter of 2015, the global tablet market will show a drop of 7.9%. A year earlier, the volume of the industry was about 46.5 million units.

Analysts say that Apple iPad share in the current quarter will have approximately 11.1 million units in total sales of tablets. The increase compared with the supply would be at the level of 8.8% in the first quarter of 2016.


It should be noted that it is the largest supplier of Apple tablets. In addition, according to IDC, the top five leading vendors of such devices include Samsung, Amazon, Lenovo and Huawei.
